My story.

Hello, and thank you for showing interest in RetroHolic Creations.

I’m Rebecca, and I live in beautiful West Yorkshire. I started painting furniture around five years ago, I desperately wanted a farmhouse-style Welsh Dresser in my dining room, but I couldn’t afford the one I had my heart set on. Instead, I visited a local charity shop, purchased an old one and learned how to upcycle. It awoke my inner creativity, and before too long I had replaced most of my old furniture with pieces that reflected my home and my personality!

RetroHolic Creations was born out of my desire to be able to give other people furniture that is as unique as they are, breathing new life into old pieces that would otherwise be discarded or sent to the landfill. Being able to save beautifully crafted pieces and find them new homes is so satisfying, and means that we’re not adding to the ever increasing amounts of mass produced cheap furniture that won’t last ten years.

All of my current ‘for sale’ pieces are listed here, but that’s not all that I do. I am more than happy to work with clients on a one-to-one basis to source a special piece for their homes, or even give their existing furniture a RetroHolic makeover. So if you’re looking for something new please browse the site, or complete the contact form to discuss commissioning a custom piece. I can’t wait to hear from you!
